2020 wishes :)

Every time new year comes, it always feels as fresh as usual.

Good vibe and beautiful spirit :)

As a tradition in my blog I would write what I've been through the whole previous year.

But last year I abandoned my blog quite a lot because I stopped using my laptop frequently coz I am totally done with my master degree. Yeayy alhamdulillah. I wanted to write my graduation story, viva story, my bfg story. I wanted to compile them all in my blog. Times aren't always there for me actually. I don't even know why. Haha. After all, I need to write my grad story shortly. But I would hold it for now. Maybe in a few days or time, I would.

I called my 2019 as a 50/50 year. It's the year of creating new dreams. Not only my study milestone.

Half of the year, I spend most of my time in Kuantan, and the other half is in my hometown. I live my life as a home full timer for now before I pursue my PhD. I think my rizq is there, instead of working. I've been thinking about it hard, and I hope things go well iAllah.

I found the other side of me last year when I lived in Kuala Kangsar for sure. The artistic part of me which I don't usually utilized hahaha. I also developed some dreams that I think might sounds relevant for me. It started because I wanted to find a decent muslim cafe for a reading and good coffee while waiting for  my dad's appointment. Unfortunately, I don't find one. The idea just popped up and I hope I can turn it into reality one day.

I love good coffee, sables, breads, cakes and books. So I wanted to make one with good ambience, comfortable so that everyone who love their own time could come and find serenity and peace. I am obsess with cute and beautiful food. I am not a sweet eater actually hahaha but I just love the way how it looks. I know I am a big fan of food but the idea of creating cafe is a good thing coz I am someone who love to chill alone with my laptop, books and coffee.

I also develop my interest in skincare nowadays. I even thought of pursuing my PhD in skincare line so that I can develop my own skincare line, creating my own brand and packaging. Thinking about festival/seasons where people could celebrate their time with their loved one with my brand line for gifts at affordable prices. I wanted to create something as good as the korean skincare I am using. Lol, this is the confession of a acne prone skin girl who just got her skin healed after using wrong products.

Since I am working a lot with bacteria and microbes, I am thinking to create a probiotic drink from my own strain. Cool tak? hahaha. This popped up sebab yakult selalu ada dalam fridge rumah which I enjoy drinking it so much loll.

After so much years of hectic lab and thesis writing, I finally have my own space to think about something cool. I can dream again finally hehehhe. This time, it is not the dreams that I have in highschool; to be a lecturer or having PhD etc, but it is something I love badly and wanted to share it with other people. I wanted to make people fall in love with things I have in mind :)

Pray for me.

Youtube is life

I practically live with my laptop these few years and I don't watch TV.

I started to ditch the tv programmes when I live abroad sebab tv aussie tak best, setiap state channel lain lain (punya besar aussie sampai begitu sekali) dan rumah memang takde tv pon masa tu ehek. So there are so much things ongoing on the tv which I do not bother lol. And I carry away that habit until now. I even do not know how to switch on the tv at my home anymore haha.

When I live with my gadgets and laptop, my entertainment is solely YOUTUBE! I love youtube so much since I can practically choose what I want to watch by type in! haaa mudah, hujan pun line clear boleh stream video lagi heee

So here are some of my all time fav youtubers and channels if you want to kill your times and grab some entertainment online :)

First, I would say Joan Kim!
Below is her recent video on her main channel.

I started watching her when I had a terrible breakout and as I was searching for important ingredients and products to get rid of my acne at first. I really enjoy her editing and how she talks about her skincare routine and stuffs. She's a beauty blogger and what I enjoy the most is to see her vlog on her daily life. The cafe she choose and the food look so appetizing! She's good at hosting it and she always think of something new for her channel. Recently, she launched a night and day cream collaborated with Neogen which is Neogen X Joanday. Seeing that and listening how she get far at  this point  makes me so proud of her :') I was excited for the cream and I would loooveee to try her night and day cream! Since I have so much things to try now, I would probably wait for it and till I get extra money, would definitely purchase one. She had a 365 days of  Joanday before and she basically vlog everyday! That was last 2 years and last year she had 100 days of series and I am still waiting for her next vlog project in 2019. Her second channel was packed with lots places in Korea, and her friends too, so indirectly I've got to know her friends too, lol.

One of Joanday episode!

My second pick would be, Mark Wiens!
Here is one of his best 2018 food review.

Oh my god, he really knows how to eat! I am a foodie. I love eating so much and yeahhh his food review really keeps me drooling. I love his shirt written I travel for food very much coz that was basically what I did too hahahaha. Mark eats so much I think so I don't get it why he stills so skinny T.T If it's me, I might gain lot of kgs, and had trouble to loose my weight back. Some people have diff tastebuds, but I guess he has the asian tongue when he enjoys eating spicy food etc, so what he usually eat in the video makes me want to try them too :)

Thirdly, I would say Maangchi!
Here's one of her video on making gimbap/kimbap

Well, I started to watch her cooking when I was in Adelaide. My housemate used to love korean food so much and there were tons of Korean markets when I was in Adelaide. So I tried to find recipes in youtube and finally discovered her channel. Later I watched lots of her videos although I do not have the intention to make them because I love watching her cooking videos since the editing was super nice and the food looks so tempting! I have tried 4 recipes from her channel, which are gimbap, dakjim, hotteok and japchae. Honestly, they all turned out pretty well! Glad that my friends love them.

Fourtly, it would be Blimey!
Blimey is my fav fav fav channel after Joan :)

Blimey has a fandom now, and it is called Blimers. I am proud to say that yes. I am A BLIMERS! hahahaha. Omg, these girls are so fun to watch! I mean they are just like nice korean girls who keep on making videos on Malaysia and Korea. Other than food, I appreciate culture very much. So when they started to make videos and compare it with both culture, it is very informative and fun to watch. If I have to choose to hang out between joan and blimey girls, I would probably say blimey because joan is like another level of standard haha. Much probably because she grew up in USA before. But these girls are just warm to watch and they seem like my go to friends haha. So fun and humble to begin with heheh.

The last one is still another food vlog. Honeykki :D
One of her what I eat in a day episode.

Whenever I feel like eating or cooking something I would start to look for its own recipe. So I think I discovered this channel when I was looking for a korean fried chicken recipe. Her video is quite a satisfaction actually. It's a different style with maangchi in terms of the editing and video style. But her what I eat in a day episode is so good to watch. I love looking at what she cooks coz the sound of cutting and frying really gets me into the video. If I have my own kitchen now, I would probably cook a lot or starting my own food blog aha!

These are my top 5 youtube channels that I love watching. I normally get so excited when Joan and Blimey videos are up nowadays. But before I got so into them, I usually spend my time watching the food videos so much. So if you guys are bored and wanting to watch something light and relaxing, go and explore youtube! There are tons of youtubers would make your days better other than solely dramas and movies. Since I lose sparks of watching dramas and movies, I usually go for youtube and explore more if I have the time. So yeah, check out my fave youtubers then!

Happy watching!

That 'dugeun-dugeun' feeling

Assalamualaikum peeps!

Ya tuhan.
Tak sempat langsung update like I mentioned in the previous post. Demam pru buat aku murung 2-3 hari. Cuba digest segala benda dan cuba move on sambil mendoakan dan mengharapkan yang terbaik untuk New Malaysia. Lagi buat aku murung bila semua orang sembang kencang kena ubah kerajaan, New Malaysia bagai tapi akhlak dan sikap rakyat Malaysia tak pernah nak berubah. Kutuk mengutuk lah, bahasa semua kelaut. Dengan agong2 pun korang berani. Waww. Ahh banyak lagi lah buat aku sakit kepala scroll fb dua tiga hari lepas. Nasib baik sambutan hari ibu dapat tone down all those hatred and comments.

Malaysians are so disappointing at one point.
Hmm, ok dah cukup.

Remember I went to PWTC before going back to Kuala Kangsar?

Ada seorang penulis yang selalu buat aku jatuh cinta setiap kali baca artikel dia. Each time I read the article he wrote, each time I fall for it over and over again. Aku tak pernah pun rasa nak view profile dia ke apa ke because I was so in love with the articles. lol. I admire his writings so much that finally I read about his convert story! Dan masa tulah aku baru tengok 'crush' aku ni punya rupa hahaha. See, in my eyes your knowledge and intelligence come first before anything else. *Tetiba* (No worries syed, I know you are extra-ordinary since our highschool years, no offense)

Dan bila seorang yang banyak membaca dan mengkaji, akhirnya dia jumpa islam on his own. I just love watching them. Aku pernah baca pasal sifat keterbukaan orang Melayu ni sangat tinggi, sekarang baru aku rasa convince sikit aku ni memang darah Melayu sungguh, bukan berdarah jepun. Mungkin lah ada secalit sikit hehehe, nak jugak.

Anyway, sehari sebelum aku pegi PWTC aku dah feeling neves-neves. Inikah perasaan orang diluar sana yang tak sabar-sabar nak jumpa artis kpop/fatah amin kegemaran dorang? Haaa aku dah faham perasaan niii. So start daripada malam tu aku dah mula berdoa supaya Allah sentiasa jaga aku supaya aku tak 'over the-boundaries' sentiasa jaga akhlak dalam keterujaan aku nak jumpa fav author aku. Alhamdulillah Allah memang jaga sungguh, sebab lepas dapat autograph dia, aku terus blah tanpa mengeluarkan sepatah perkataan pun -___-

Pastu menyesal sikit. hahahaha.
Lepastu mood kembali seronok sebab dia mention nama aku dalam post dia. Terima kasih ingat 'Syafiqa'. 2 hari aku seronok sebab ni je sampai lah GE ruin everything lol.

Aku rasa aku sangat lack of knowledege dengan isu-isu yang dia tulis. Bila aku baca, terus rasa macam mind blowing sangat. Korang yang dah terer ni mungkin lah tak rasa excited macam aku lol, tapi bila berbicara tentang bangsa dan agama, sefikrah la pulak rasa kita ni ya huhuhu.

Buat korang yang wonder,

Aku bercakap tentang penulis buku: Dunia tanpa tembok & Mencabar teori konspirasi.
Haaaa. Google sendiri siapa penulis dia.

Sorry aku nebes 'dugeun-dugeun' pulak hati aku,
sampai tertutup tajuk buku tu.

Aku dah habis baca buku Dunia Tanpa tembok.

PS: I hope you will produce more books so I have the reason to meet you again simply because I have lots of questions to ask you.

Travel stories update :)

Hi guys!

Lama dah tak cerita pasal travel kan?

I came back from Sarawak recently. This is actually my second time went there. The 1st one was 8 years ago when I was still 16teen but that trip was not considered as really a vacation because all we did was more to visiting my dad's friend whom he didn't met for almost 40 years. Abah was the 1st batch teacher who came to Sarawak to teach Bahasa Melayu from semenanjung at that time. And while he was still a young lad, he met a kind hearted lady who used to cook for him lunch and dinner. Eventually that makcik and pakcik Palah became his foster family. So we went up to Julau and even Dalat (We learned the story of Dalat during our form 1 literature components if you guys can still remember), visiting his 1st posting school as a teacher, we even went to his rumah sewa back then. I know abah was happy, but we didn't get the chance to feel as happy as him, LOL. So yeah, we went again and this time we visited quite numbers of places. And of course, most importantly the taste of Sarawak food. Comparing the two state lying on the land of Borneo: I must say food in Sarawak fits my taste buds more than the food I had in Sabah. But the spectacular beaches views and sunset in Sabah wins over trees and forest I've seen in Sarawak.

This is actually my 2nd family trip after Bandung in January. Bandung was so much fun too since my bestfriend from high school tagged along as well. But as soon as I came back from Bandung, I received numerous works I need to settle. And because we had my niece Aqiqah held not long after that trip, I lost spark of writing about it. I was too exhausted I think lol. Travelling back and forth, cleaning and doing chores at house, finishing my lab works and writing at the same time.

The last few months were quite intense coz datelines are all on ques.
Sigh.

Anyway, I will write up my Bandung story after this maybe if I have the time. The place is amazing, foods were wonderful and people are just so soft and polite. The only cons was it rained heavily on the second last day so we missed out the most important scenic moment and pictures in Bandung which was to visit Kawah Putih and the nearby Danau. It was kind of cold up there and the rain did not even allowed us to get even a glimpse of the Danau huhuhu. All we could see was fog. But then Abah said, kalau ada anak-anak abah nak kawin, kita pergi Bandung lagi sebab nak beli kain hahaha. I think 4 days and 3 nights were so short to discover the hidden gem in Bandung. Overall both were great journey.

My travel diaries officially started when I studied abroad. Oh maybeee, a year before that coz my family started to bring me flying to see the world. Since I got like much free time before pursuing my studies at that time. 9 months were not a short period that I ended up going to 3 countries. Going around Asian countries after several years spending times travelling around southern zone of the world, I am more and more proud to be Asian hihi. Because I think Asian are unique creatures which hold much more tradition and cultures which I love experiencing them.

I'll be back to Kuala Kangsar tomorrow after dropping by Pesta Buku at PWTC and that is, obviously for voting and PRU purpose. I take the chance to have a week off from Kuantan. Going back relaxing at my hometown, trying many many recipes I saved on facebook and making my sister and dad eating all them up soon. No worries people. I'll chip in my entries in between.

See you soon.
Bye! :D

Amazing Lombok!

Hai

Wan Syafiqa ni orangnya selalu unpredictable. So yeahh, sudden decision 2 minggu sebelum, beli tiket flight pergi Lombok! Nak kabo kat supervisor lepas beli tiket pun terketar-ketar takut cuti tak lulus leuls. At least ada orang back up, kalau duit tak cukup hehehe.

Actually aku dah lama nak pergi Indonesia ni. Teringin nak pergi Mount Bromo sebenarnya. Aku susun route dah cantik dah, turun kat surabaya-mount bromo-bali naik ferry. Tapi dangg tiket pergi surabaya mahal, rosak plan.

At last, kteorang decide untuk cari supir sahaja exclude segala fees, makan & hotel. Sehari ada la dalam Rm100+, IDR45000 kot. (include bbm which is minyak). Okay, aku admit aku memang susah ingat nama orang. Tapi lepas tu tak berani nak tanya lagi sebab to be frank I asked him several times before tapi at one time lupa dan confuse balik.

Sampai-sampai je, supir bawak pergi makan. Ayam taliwang kot nama dia. Aduhh ku jatuh cinta rasa pertama dengan makanan dia!

Minum bersama jus alpukat @ avocado.
Lepastu 4 hari 3 malam aku asyik nak minum jus tu je haha

1st stop kteorang kat kampung tenun, sukarara.

Wan Syafiqa kan suka cuba benda baru.
Abah & kak yang hanya selfie

Boleh try juga pakai pakaian tradisional dia.
Free of charge. Abah taknak pakai sebab abah kata abah hangat haha

Soon after that, bermulalah episode amazing lombok secara berdush-dush.
Lombok seriously cantik sangat!

Stop 2 : Pantai Selong Belanak

Cantik macam beaches kat Aussie!
Lombok boleh nampak bukit-bukit lagi mcm ni.
Aussie nampak laut yang infinity haha.

Thought it's Maldives!
Sebab panas sangat, weols berteduh
dan minum air kelapa. Not planning to surf.

Stop 3: Masjid National Lombok.

Okay masjid ni lawa sangat. Tour guide masjid ni pun best & friendly. Okay dah tak ingat apa nama dia tapi kteorang dikhabarkan yang masjid kat lombok ni banyak gila. Setiap kampung dia ada masjid. Pengajian pun setiap malam. Abah dah sampai bali like 2 years ago kot, so abah kata dia tak suka Bali sebab asyik tengok kuil ajer dan susah nak cari makanan halal haha. Testimoni orang lain pergi bali semua gembira je, tapi kalau tanya abah dia punya la kata tak seronok lol.

Paling aku berkenan nampak gunung ganang belakang tu. hehe

Entrance masjid.

Policy abah kalau pegi tempat orang ni, dia nak pergi masjid tempat tu. So aku rasa sebab tu dia tak berkenan kot kat bali banyak sangat kuil agaknya.

Semua gambar gambar ni banyak tour guide tu yang amik kan. So tetiba ada personal photographer pulak. haha

DAY 2 IS ANOTHER ADVENTURE!

Okay basically, hari kedua ni hari snorkelling Wan Syafiqa. Kami ke gili trawangan. (Gili maksudnya pulau). Aku bercita cita nk buat island hoping sebab area tu ada 3 pulau kecik lagi in which pulau2 lain lagi best for snorkelling. Tapi sebab sewa boat mahal gak. 1juta IDR. Ada la dalam RM300+. Kalau island hoping Rm400+.

Soon after that, kteorang pergi another side of gili trawangan. 3km ride with bike! Aku tak igt berapa sewa, tapi  murah la. tak sampai RM5 kot satu basikal. Kalau taknak basikal, there's always option untuk kereta kuda. Tapi sebab aku rasa duit dah melayang naik boat, aku suggest naik basikal je.

So korang pernah tengok tak orang amik gambar atas buaian dalam air yang cantik gila tu. Tambah sunset pulak lawa bebenor la. So we wanted to produce the same exact picture.....

Okay, basically this photo is epic-ly failed!
hahahahahhaha

Tetiba aku jadi pemalu.

Jangan aku jumpa gambar aku kat page Lombok sudah!

Okay yang tu nama dia Pak Usman! Sebab nama dia ni senang tu yang aku ingat haha

Balik hotel malam tu, aku dah rasa kaki kurus sikit.
Serius.

DAY 3 IS BE.AU.TI.FUL

The next day was island hoping sungguh. Kteorang ke area timur lombok. Tempat yang ada pantai pink tu. Bayar boat lagi. Serupa harga macam the day before. Aku tak tahu boleh snorkelling sekali sobsss. Kalau tak dah bawak baju lebih. Sebab kali ni snorkelling inclusive. Tak macam gili trawangan yang kena bayar IDR 1K for snorkelling, around RM30+. To be honest, aku rasa lagi best snorkelling kat sini!

Do you know that not every star belongs to the sky?

Banyak gila starfish dia weh tak tipuuu

I'm not kidding I tell you.

MashaAllah amazing.

So we decided to wait for the sunset here. Worth the wait.
It was beautiful :')

Batu payung! Kena transfer dari boat.

Maka nikmat tuhanmu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

Malam tu aku request nak makan bakso. The best bakso I ever tasted. Okay tak payah la aku letak gambar bakso semua orang kenal bakso kan, hehe

DAY 4 : GOODBYE LOMBOK

Last day dah tak masuk pulau dah. Hanya enjoy pemandangan dan ke sasak village. Kampung sasak ni kampung tradisional suku sasak di Lombok. That was unique. Amaze aku tgk rumah dorang.

Last day ni nampak beno abah dah gelap! hahaha
Kteorang dah pesan pakai sunblock dia taknak.
Yang pakai sunblock pun burn apatah lagi yang tak pakai pape. haha

Here is Kuta Beach! Unik sikit tak macam pantai yang lain.

Sebab gambar haritu terribly fail haha,
berjaya dah amik gambar comel atas buai

Lepastu kteorang terus ke airport. Sebelum tu sempat bungkus ayam taliwang bawak naik flight makan bila sampai malaysia. hahaha. Ya ampun tak pernah dibuat orang.

Lombok is just amazing with its culture and scenery. Not forgetting the food! I was literally happy with this vacation. Though it is a short vacation for me, I enjoyed it. A lot. Most probably sebab, makanan sedap, perut tak pernah tak kenyang masa kat lombok. I am a foodie so I dont mind spending on food. Makanan murah murah so aku beli pun cam tak kisah sangat. A comfortable vacation yang cukup serba serbi! Walaupun lombok bagi aku sunburn bila balik Malaysia, it makes me happy though. Sebab fernweh dah hilang, and stress level dah turun huahua. Well, aku nak repeat lombok lagi for another adventurous trip: Mount Rinjani Tracking pula :')

Next week dah start naik bukit Pelindung kat Pahang. Let's see fit ke tak kita ni. hehe.

So Lombok, see you again!

Roses die-hard fans

Hai

Siapa kat sini yang suka bunga?

Okeyh. Akulah manusia tersebut. Hehehehe

Generally, aku sebenarnya suka benda-benda wangi. Semua benda aku nak wangi. Dari hand cream, body cream, lotion, perfume, talcum powder. Semua kena wangi okay. I've fallen in love with flowers at the first sight. Benda ni makin menjadi-jadi bila aku study abroad.

Orang kata typical girl ni sebab suka bunga huhu. Pernah tengok tak bouquet of chocolate/ayam goreng yang viral kat facebook tu? Mannn, bouquet is made for flowers laaa hehe. Macam mana pun aku prefer bunga jugak.

Aku seorang yang tak sabar-sabar nak tunggu spring tiba masa kat Adelaide dulu. Belakang rumah aku dulu landlord ada tanam banyak buah. Tapi bunga ni dia jarang sikit dia tanam.

Family aku beli dekat Rundle Mall. They chose Roses! My faveee flower. Masa dapat bunga tu aku eksited kemain. haha.

Cantik kan? Terima kasih sebab beli bunga fave ittew

Lepastu aku dah tak pernah pernah dapat lagi dah. Ahahaha

Masa aku final year dekat Aussie, beriya aku nak jejakkan kaki kat ladang festival Floriade. Festival tu is a big festival untuk ladang tulip kat Canberra. Aku ingat lagi masa tu raya haji. Balik hari pulak tu hehe. Aku memang diehard fans of these two flowers. Roses dengan Tulips. Jadi takkan ku lepaskan peluang nak pegi ladang tu. You know you find serenity and the sense of calmness bila spend kat ladang bunga.

aku happy sangat. Rasa macam nak lompat lompat sebab eksited sangat
tengok bunga. hoyeahh. Floriade festival, checkked.
Oh yellow tulips is my fave btw.

Masa ni raya haji, aku pergi rushing rushing amik kereta kat city lepas solat raya. Jadi aku tak sempat nak tukar baju, Adik2 ni sempat balik rumah dan hanya menunggu kedatangan gua.

Spring 2015.
kebun tu.

Pastukannn, baru baru ni aku susun balik barang penjagaan kulit aku. Aku beli sikit sikit.

Roses products!

Baru aku perasan, unconsciously banyak segala lotion perfume aku ni roses oriented.

Sebelum ni aku guna talcum yardly, English Rose. Baru ni je yang rasa nak tukar angin skit beli Red rose. Yang botol soft pink tu fave talcum beli kat Adelaide, kat Discount Chemist harga dia $3 something. Jenama Grace Cole : White Rose & lotus flower. Wangi sangat sangat. Bau dia soft sopan sopan je. Kalau yardly ni dia strong sikit. Tambah Red Roses dia. Lagi strong.

Sweet cranberry rose tu aku beli dekat Bath & Body Works. Beli sekali dengan Hafsah & Safy. That is the sense of our friendship gituu. Bau dia wangiii sangat & sweet! kalau apply lepas mandi, lepastu pakai baju & keluar bilik, bau dia mmg melekat dekat baju & bilik tu sendiri. Tahan 16 jam. I feel like a winner because the price dropped from RM65 to RM25. hehe

White Musk : Smokey Rose. Beli kat body shop. Junior tolong belikan kat Adelaide because the price diff macam ketara gila. Sengkek weh beli kat sini. Masa ni elaun baru masuk. So self award dengan perfume sebab aku dok teringat je kat dia dari 1st day bau. Addictive!

Please ignore the innesfree charcoal mask kat sebelah tu. It just happened to be there. Safy gave me as a gift she bought it from Korea. Thank you dear!

Perfume bilik punnn. haha. Ni nama dia Princess Rose.
Aku beli kat Daiso, harga Rm5++

Hahaha.

Doakan kita dapat sama sama pegi, okay?

Treating myself

Hi peeps.

Actually I am home again! hehehe.

Kuala Kangsar always feels at home. No matter how far I'd go, how I told people Japan is my absolute destination, and how I am fond of travelling,  nothing can beat the place where I belong too. I will always know I would come back to this place :')

Anyway, I've been working so hard for the past few weeks too. and to be honest I feel exhausted quite a few times. My sister from Sabah finally got a week break from hospital, so after a consultation with my supervisor and my naqibah too, eventually I got a week getaway from my hectic schedule which I am so happy and grateful of. There you go a family gathering featuring my sisters and Abah. Too bad my niece, Kak Opa and family did not tag along. It must be a complete and fun family gathering I reckon!

We decided to gather at my sister's house at first. Exploring dungun before we sent off adik at the bus station back at utm (she did not have any holidays so it was just a sweet escape weekend for her). From the day adik got in Kuantan until I reached Kuala Kangsar (got back today), I had my stomach filled most of the times. Chilling times for my family are enjoying the scenery while eating haha. Since mom left, we hadn't have a proper meal like we used to have. We used to request lot of foods from my mom everytime balik kampung. But now, everytime we get back together, everyone was trying to satisfy Abah's need. Asking abah what he wanted to eat is like a normal routine now. So every time it's a gathering time for the family, we always have our food planned rather than the places we wanted to cover lol.

Later on, after sending my sister off, the next day we went to Kuala Terengganu. As my sister's flight back to Sabah is at Kuala Terengganu we decided to explore a lil bit of KT best places to go. Australia taught me of appreciating beaches the most, so when I got back here I tend to acknowledge the beaches we got here. Despite the hotness I must say I've got sunburn too haha but it's okay they said tanned is hotter hahaha, Terengganu has beautiful beaches after Sabah :)

I took my happy pills :)

So I sent my sister off and got back to Dungun. Well it was just more to spending time with my nephew Abang long Fateh, and Kak Ngah too. The next day is also a day treat for me. My pampering day. I went to saloon and had my hair treatment, then I went to the spa nearby, had my skin treatment too. Hilang semua stress, penat lelah bagai tuu. haha. Puas hati kita. If a single girl like me who got no commitment and get so stressful with her life, I wonder how it goes to other people who are doing masters/phd, owning a family, being a wife, have children, not forgetting tarbiyyah manage their life. They must be working under pressure way heavier than me. So please men, it is essential to treat your woman with this. I know they will like it very much because I believe they just need a short break and her short own time to top up back their drained energy.

Tapi sebenarnya kalau Wan Syafiqa ni,

A bouquet of flowers and a box of sushi, is enough to make her day.

She will consider you, a husband materials already.
Aha!

Jap.
Tambah satu lagi trait, lelaki soleh.

Korean Food - Dakjjim Recipe

Okay lah sebab semalam dah bagi tahu nak share recipe,

Jemput korang try lah recipe dakjjim @ braised chicken with vegetables. Mihmih

For me, korean food ni banyak based dia kicap, sesame oil, hot chilli paste @ gochujang dan hot pepper flakes. Sepanjang revision aku kat video maangchi tu la. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I feel.

Before we begin, hehe review aku untuk recipe ni dia ala ala ayam masak kicap tapi versi korea. Haa gituu.

Disebabkan kteorang berdua je yang nak makan, so I cut this recipe into half. Bahan bahan dia kteorang banyak shopping kat jusco je. Barang mahal sikit lah.

Bahan bahan :

i. Glass noodle
ii. Sesame oil
iii.Rice syrup (Boleh substitute dengan honey)
iv. Sesame seed untuk hiasan. Maangchi kata korean always use toasted sesame seed. Tapi aku tak peduli semua itu. hahaha

i. Any type of mushroom - i used shitake mushroom
ii. 1/2 carrot
iii. 2 potatoes
iv. 1/2 onions
v. Garlic & ginger.

Sauce dia pulak, ni yang penting:
i. 1/5 oyster sauce
ii. 1/5 kicap masin. Hari tu guna kicap adabi je, jalen pun boleh lol.
iii. 1/5 rice syrup
iv. 1/2 brown sugar.

*And main thing lupa pulak, ayam. Boleh guna bahagian apa pun korang suka. Sebab i like thigh, so guna la dalam 400-500gm ayam camtu. Potong bite site okay?

*Rendam juga glass noodle tu sampai dia lembut sikit. Amik 50gm. Agak2 je. haha

Cara-cara:

1. Guna 1-2 sudu minyak dan goreng 3 biji cili kering,  jangan sampai terbakar. Biar keluar bau dan garing sikit lepastu angkat.
2. Lepastu masukkan ayam. Goreng dia dalam 5-10 mins.
3. Masukkan halia dan bawang putih. Kacau kacau sampai naik bau
4. Masukkan kentang, sos tadi dan 1.5 cawan air. Tutup dan masak 10mins
5. Masukkan glass noodle

*Api, sederhana panas ye. Jangan pakai api besar sangat pulak, nanti broth evaporate pula.

Tadaaaaa, my dakjjim :)

Any Koreans up for this Malay girl?
hahahaha

Help me

My facebook is flooded with lots of cooking video and if I have my kitchen right now I would probably tried everything I watched! Apart from writing, cooking is one of my best therapy. I can be more expressive with cooking too lol

True, my obsession over food is crazy ya knoww. hahaha

So when I am a foodie, I cook as well. I don't wanna really say this, but I think I have good sense of tasting, that's when my every dish turns out pretty well hehehe.

Because of this, I've been wishing to be part of Rasa Halal Antarabangsa host, because that show really gathers every of my passion and obsession at the same time! Travelling, eating good halal food, hosting, spreading the beauty of every cultures, experience new things, feel the air of another country, see the world and even got the chance to learn new traditional cuisine of other races, that would just sound perfect to me. Sooo purrfeeect. And I know this is so not going to happen thus I'll just have to keep keep dreaming, hahaha.

Just recently, I watched so many cooking demonstration on youtube. If you look at my subscriptions, you'll die in hunger since I only subscribe good food and recipes in my channel haha so this is what I'm doing during weekend if I have nothing else to do, watching and drooling. Anndd my another wish is to taste the food cooked by top chefs and youtubers like chef wan and maangchi. Maangchi is so popular with her korean dishes, and everytime I watched it, she just making me watching her videos more. I even played the same video numerous time because of how good the food looks like.

My late mom used to bake and sell a lot of cakes and cookies before. My mother was a very amazing cook. She cooks everyday that I have never got the chance to know lauk bungkus actually exists when I was in school. I've grown up in a family who eat home-cooked meal a lot. I thought that every family is like that when in fact it is not. Everytime she tasted a dish, she'll tell me she can make this turn out even better and truly she did. That is to the point when I found how extremely amazing she was. Out of my siblings, I am always the one who would accompany my mom in the kitchen. Well, most of my sisters did, but I think I'm the most often one. My fondness of trying to cook was even before I started kindergarten. I used to interrupt my mom when she baked and to drive my attention away, my mom would tell me to watch some sort of cooking shows on tv lol. And I would asked my mom everyday, "mak ada masak masak tak harini?" hahaha. I hope she didn't feel annoyed, When I've done with my matriculation, I had a 9 months bloody long break before I flew to Adelaide. I realized I learnt so much from her and we even had a deep conversation sometimes. And that was I think, I was matured enough to listen to her deep convo. I think my mom was born to make everyone happy because what I realized, she's happy when she can make people happy. Such a pure and lovely woman she is :)

I wanted to preserve this quality she had in my family soon :) I wanted my family to grow with the barakah food I cook. Uhm, here it goes my identity crisis again. hahaha. I still think that people who reads a lot, have a lot of knowledge is the richest person among all. That's why I chose to pursue master and dig more and more experience each day. I wanted to inspire people and tell the world how important knowledge and experiences are to me. Coz if you have that title, people tend to believe you more. That's when if people asked, I can tell them how my research is going on with enthusiasm. I can help them in so many ways. Help them to study and share with other people how I did to secure a supervisor, scholarship and all. To be frank, I am always happy receiving emails and private message regarding mybrainsc before. This small heart really wanted to help people :)

However, the other side of me is always dreaming of being a wife and a mother who cooks on every meal, I just want to be the wife who would ask my husband what he's going to eat, and can literally eat every food I cooked with love and gesture of appreciation, I just wanna listen to how he loves my food very much and kiss my forehead telling me how wonderful I treated our family. I wanna be a supermom educating my children too. While I know the best mom is the one who stayed at home, I wanna be a woman who works because I want a brain which keep on functioning everyday lol. Not downgrading anyone, but it is just me. I am like that. I have to go out meeting people, learn some things, do some research to keep my soul alive.

Well I hope I can sort these things out, soon.
I have too much things in my head that I need somebody to help me with these thoughts.
Sigh.

My Addiction to Japanese Food

Assalamualaikum peeps.

This blog is a personal part of me. I don't reveal myself  much in other social media but I do talk a lot in my blog. So if you found myself bragging and talking without consent, layan kan ajer k hahaha

My family and close friends around me know how I enjoy eating so much. A friend even suggested me to run a food blog due to my food obsession. I have this universal tongue which easily tolerate with various kind of different foods except egg yolk lol. I rather die in hunger than forcing myself eating egg yolk so I tend to be very picky when it comes to egg. Jadi bila ada kawan yang tag aku saja saja nak tease aku dengan telur dekat facebook, habis seminggu aku tak makan telur lepas tu -__- bau telur pun tak boleh. Hm kalah orang mengandung haha. Ini cerita benar ya. Me and eggs are relatively complicated!

So, today I am supposed to have iftar with my Algerian friend, Assia. Well I personally thought middle eastern people, uhm she's from North Africa to be exact, is very particular about food. I know they went crazy over chicken and beef. And also fish is not even in their option because they hate it. To my surprise, this girl has mutual interest with me! Both of us are craving for Japanese food like hell. Ohmai ohmai. This is very rare! Nak cari gadis melayu yang teman aku p makan sushi king pun susahh, last last jumpa Assia, si gadis manis Algeria ni pula :')

Me is in lovee. Hati dah berbunga...

I'm so over excited yang aku dah teringat dari pagi tadi siap google lagi menu sushi king, dah fikir fikir nak makan apa. But then she texted saying she can't make it today, so we shall go for a sushi date tomorrow. T.T Waiting for another 24 hours is a torture though. Ngaaaaa

Tetiba hati kecilku meronta-ronta nak ikut along pegi Jepun lagi tahun depan. Nak sushiiii... Seriously nothing can ever beats Japanese food in Japan. Ya tuhan, makan kat Jepun sedap dia lain macam. Obviously because its their authentic food kan. Kena pula harini tertengok video okonomiyaki. Hm hm I feel like crying T.T tak tahu nak cakap keciwa dan obsesi aku ni makin menjadi jadi pulak, Padahal, sebelum puasa adik beradik aku semua pakat melepaskan craving masing masing kat sushi and Japanese food walaupun semua makan kat tempat lain dan update dekat whatsapp je mampu. Sampai tahap aku wonder, adakah darah Nippon ini benar benar mengalir dalam badan kami? Hahaha

Mula la aku throwback my every food kat Jepun. Aku ni malas amik gambar sebab dah tak tahan sangat nak makan. hewhew. Mungkin sebab tu insta never works for me. Tak tahu nak update gambar apa. Gambar aku amik ni pun ada la bergoyang sikit, tak cantik ah sebab nak tunjuk kat whatsapp family je nak kabo ke deme yang tengok lah ika makan apaaa. hihihi. Takpelah, I'll change. Nak melakarkan kenangan abadi bersama makanan gituuw

Ni soba. Aku makan kat Enoshima. Ada seorang akhwat ni belanja :) Jzkk awak. Sedap sangat.
Tapi tulah, kawan aku cakap orang jepun ni packing dorang taknak kalah. Mesti packing lawa lawa.
Hai sushi sayang. Aku merindui mu T.T
This is grilled mackarel! Hah, kat malaysia ada je grilled mackarel ni. Masa ni aku makan dengan sedapnya sebab aku baru touch down hokkaido.
This is sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is a japanese steamboat. Power sebab seafood dia fresh gila. Tambah tambah ni kat hokkaido, lagilah mantap. 7/10!
This is Japanese Salmon soup. Haaa. Ni kan aku rasa dai rebus segala sisa tulang salmon tu untuk menghasilkan broth. Flavour dia tak strong manapun, tak macam sup kita ka malaysia yang kaya dengan segala rempah dan bawang, simple je but very healthy and rich with its salmon taste!
Matcha cake! Right after I come back from Japan, aku dah mula jatuh cinta dengan green tea.
Thiss, seafood grilled aku kat Hokkaido. Last dinner dengan siti.
Tapi kteorang semua makan lain lain Ramen, so merasa la semua daaan semua ni sedap belaka! Sebelah tu karage, dia japanese fried chicken. MashaAllah brother, sedappp
This is my faveee. Ahhh sedap gila sebab rasa mackarel dia naik sangat. I think its smoke mackarel ke apa tah, tapi really really good.

Aku pun redha.
Takpelah, balik nanti adik nak belanja satu family sushi sebab dia dapat dean list lagi.
Untung ada adik pelajar cemerlang UTM ni. hehehe
Ja matta!
